3600 photos accompanied me home from my recent 4month trip. There are shots of buildings, cows, haircuts, newspaper headlines, drinks, monkeys and countless ones of ‘myself holding the camera at arm’s length’.
In addition to all this, I’ve been collecting textures. Textures are a fantastically helpful resource for design. Overlaying an interesting texture onto your design can lift it into brilliance.
Normally, I use CGTextures for my work. Now, hopefully, I will be able to use my own homegrown stock! It’s the design equivalent of a personal herb garden.
