For every picture you take in Beijing, another picture is taken of you.
As fascinating as you – the foreign tourist – may find Beijing’s Lama Temple or Tiennamen Square, a Chinese local will be finding far more fascination in you. At times, you may even find yourself at the centre of a hastily-arranged photoshoot; the celebrity star in a family snap.
Never one to miss out on an opportunity, I decided to take of them as good as they took of me, snapping not just Beijing city, but Beijing people too.
