This week I’m going to China.
It’s a land of red things, MSG and a language which easily confuses ‘Milk’ and ‘Grandmother’. It is, in fact, a potentially confuzzling place for my narrow Western mind. But thankfully, confuzlement often turns out to be extremely entertaining.
In fact, in celebration of my departure – and imminent confuzlement – I’ve come up with a little game. It draws inspiration from Redlight’s Recent Musical Release, and the HongKongese magazine ‘Monday’.
HOW TO PLAY:
Have a look at the clippings from ‘Monday’ Magazine below and ponder their meaning!
1: HULK FIGURE INBETWEEN CLEAVAGE, INSET: MODEL WITH A WOODY
2: HEAD OF A WOMAN DISCUSSES TRAIN SHIP CRASH/BIRTH
3: PANDA WATCHES WOMAN AND BOY BATHING IN YELLOW LIQUID
