When not photographing more interesting subjects, I have often taken pictures of walls. Walls, floors, doors, benches, grasses, anything with a texture that seems special to me; special for its vibrant colour, its grubbiness or its intricacy. After a while I discovered that I had quite a few hundred, and thought I should perhaps make the most of them.
This, then, is a collage of some of my favourites. It is graded manually by colour and texture and arranged using InDesign. It is currently hanging on my wall, but since I rarely open up for gallery viewings, you can see a small preview here.
